I pretty much agree with Jayne. I think your article is kind of biased and cynical. Of course what we do now matters. We pass down our legacies to our children (at least, in TS2 we do), and if we can contribute to the world, such as how the humans Martin Luther King, Jr. and Ghandi did, then we affect other sims in the future. Don't you think that if we could eradicate GPD in Sim Nation or the Red illness that we'd effect the lives of millions of sims?

Also, just a side note, I haven't been a star for a long time. I'm on the X-treme career track and I think the only reason that I'm ever in the rags or news is because my parents were such popular stars. That and sims love to gossip, it's in our natures. :)
