Hey Larry,

I tried Canidae about two years ago. It was recommended by Whole Dog Jounal, a canine magazine I subscribe to. Every year they test available dog foods but it is American so many of their top choices are not available here in Canada.
I believe it is a good food but my experience is that is inconsistent in quality. I would buy a few bags and get nice small firm stools and then the next bags would give huge loose stools. It was my last attempt to find a superior food. I gave up and switched to raw food and haven't looked back. I now know that I am feeding quality every meal as I select the food myself.
