Subject: Cross Boerboel Male needing a home

A friend of mine has adopted a cross male boerboel, Shadow, who's been in his family for many years. Shadow is unfortunately petrified of thunder and fireworks and jumps the walls of the property every time he hears any. He is now being kept in a courtyard which is really not very homely, there's no grass just brick. The dog gets on fine with smaller dogs and his best friend was a kitten. He is extremely calm and placid. Only presents a problem when he hears thunder and fire works.

He would need a home with very high walls or where he is allowed inside the house. He is fine when he has someone with him, but jumps when he's home alone.

PLEASE can someone help give Shadow a home. My friend is starting to think it might be best to put him down, and that would be so sad.

If you are interested I can send you a photo or two of the dog. He is currently in Glenvista south of Jo'burg, but we would bring him to any Jo'burg or surrounding area.
