Subject: St. Jo Route; St. Jo, Generally

Folks:

This link SHOULD get you to an area map of St. Jo, site of our our April Road Trip. If it doesn't, just enter "St. Jo, Tx" in Mapquest or any similar engine, and you'll be able to see the route that I'll describe below.

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?searchtype=address&country=US&addtohistory=&searchtab=home&formtype=address&popflag=0&latitude=&longitude=&name=&phone=&level=&cat=&address=&city=st.+jo&state=tx&zipcode=#north

For directions to St. Jo, see the write-up on the main page of the CCC website.

*. Park in "downtown" square, St. Jo
*. NE on 2382 (toward, but not to, Bulcher)
*. NW, N on 373 (through Illinois Bend)
*. W on 2353
*. N (to Spanish Fork), W, S on 103; go into Nacona
*. Refresh; head back out of Nacona on 103
*. E on 1956
*. SHORTER ROUTE, gradual climb: S on 1815 (through Bonita); SE on 82
*. LONGER ROUGE, harder climb: S 0n 677

A number of people have expressed interest in doing the shorter version. Post up if you're planning to do this, so folks won't worry about bailing alone.

Eual has volunteered to drive; so have I. We'll need some other drivers, too.

This will be a GREAT ride.

See you then (and sooner),
Alex
