Subject: 10 Angry Men

The Yellow Train was angry tonight my friends. The temp was 96 degrees at the start on Tuesday night and the peloton rolled out quickly from Crownover with Thraser Tim already wearing his game face.

Everything stayed together all the way to Westlake even though Thrasher got stung by a wasp. Big Rick took a flyer off the front and cut the corner sharp at the bottom of Fish Hook hill and got a gap. His attack was quickly nullified at the stop sign by a Lake Cities Fire Truck. Remember, only you can prevent peloton attacks.

Things got really nasty down Shady Shores lane as the pace stayed at or near 30mph for nearly 2 miles. It was here a couple of riders said "No Mas, No Mas".

Eight angry men remained as the peloton rolls into Ceilo Ranch with Juan Ulrich and the Boss out front. Apparently Thrasher has changed colognes as he has another encounter with a bee and has trouble with a turn. This trouble causes Thrasher and Jacque the Ripper to lose contact with the front group.

Halfway through Cielo Rance the Boss attacks and stays in front back to Shady Shores Drive. No one goes with him and he is reeled back.

Tornado Tom hammers to the front and pulls down Lake Shore road. The incline has caused more separation. Big Rick leads up Cowpattie Hill and only five are left: Rick, Juan Ulrich, The Cannibal, Tornado and The Boss. It's 26mph for the next 3 miles.

Five angry men finally reach Corinth Parkway. Water bottles running low and gasping for air doesn't seem to slow the pace. Big Rick and Cannibal are at the front pulling at 25mph. It is one mile to the finish line and everyone is still together. 26, 27 miles per hour now with about 3/4 mile to the finish. 1000 meters to go and Juan Ulrich hits it hard. Rick and Tornado go with him with the Boss still on Cannibals wheel.

Can Roland hang on. Ro continues to chug away and Big Rick is unable to come around him. The Cannibal begins to fade and Scottie is closing in on the Tornado but Tornado just holds on for 3rd.
