Subject: NO CAR RAN OVER ME....CLOSE THOUGH!!!!

Hey fellow cyclists!!!! I am alive and well. No damage to me....THANK GOD!!! The bicycle has some damage...basically potato chip rear wheel. However, yesterday,was a different story. It LOOKED alot worse than it was.
Long story short. I was on my mtn bike and told the guys who were riding that if I got dropped go ahead I would be fine. However,during the ride I was able to hang with them (and they waited on me some as well)until our 900th trip up that stupid damn hill they kept dropping me on. So, in my eagerness to catch them (I thought in my mind they probably were riding a little slower and waiting)and with what energy I had left,I think I was gaining....until this particular corner(not sure what the street name is,but it is the next block south of Shady Shores turning West)that I was going into, and not being able to hold my line because of the high rate of speed I was going on this 35lb mtn bike. lol. This pour mid-aged women minding her own business saw me coming and slowed as much as she could before my back wheel went under her real wheel, all the time I've got my wheels locked down and trying to stay out of her grill. So fortunatly God seem to think it was just not my time. So I am here to continue disrupting the CCC heros alittle while longer. Thanks for all the concerns and I will see you Sat. bright and early. It is fine if you want to send flowers and cards, my wife loves flowers for any occasion.HA!
P.S. You may well know I'm not near the writer Scottie is! Oh well!!!
