Subject: Save the Florida Bible College Alumni Association

Dear FBC Alum,

I am very concerned.

I am scared that before leaving his job as the "current" President of the Florida Bible College Alumni Association, that Pastor "Steve" Bils will DESTROY everything that Mels Carbinels set up so for it so many years ago.

Be informed, Pastor "Steve" Bils intends to CHANGE the Florida Bible College Alumni Association, and for the WORSE.

READ what they propose:
________________________________________________
"Many of the conventions and norms assumed in the original bylaws have been rendered inoperative and moot by the closing of our alma mater. Rewriting them prior to an election of officers has been considered. Also on the table is the proposal that we make the first task of our newly-elected leaders the adoption of new governing documents."

BEWARE!

Mels set up the Florida Bible College Alumni Association as a 501 (c) 3 with the purpose of supporting FLORIDA BIBLE COLLEGE!

Now, Pastor Bils wants to CONVERET the Florida Bible College Alumni Association into a selfish, greedy, self serving social and recreation club that ONLY SERVES THE Florida Bible College ALUMNI!

How sad it is to see that many of our weak minded apathetic alumni have drifted so far!

We must now act to SAVE the Florida Bible College Alumni Association from Steve Bils and John Boehm!

We must put our foot down!

We must DEMAND that our alumni association support Florida Bible College!

I believe God for a future for our school.

I believe that that future is via GBCATS!

One of the long term goals of GBCATS and the Crossing (church) is to re-open a future Bible college campus in FLORIDA, (Florida Bible College)

If you believe God for a future for Florida Bible College , and if you want to preserve our Alumni Association from abandoning Mels's vision and plan, please contact me at:

May the word of God NEVER leave the halls of Florida Bible College

Their Proposal,

"

Greetings in the Lord!

Our Nominating Committee has been deliberating for almost ten months now on the best way to proceed with the selection of our new leaders. Many of the conventions and norms assumed in the original bylaws have been rendered inoperative and moot by the closing of our alma mater. Rewriting them prior to an election of officers has been considered. Also on the table is the proposal that we make the first task of our newly-elected leaders the adoption of new governing documents.

In an effort to energize this process, and to perhaps provide some clarity concerning which option might be the best, we are turning to you to suggest to our Nominating Committee the names of individuals you believe would be well-suited to lead us in this time of transition.

Please take some time to prayerfully consider who among your peers might be appropriate choices to provide leadership to the alumni association. A "Suggestions to the Nominating Committee" form page has been created at the Florida Bible College Alumni Association web site. (If this link to the page does not work on your computer, please type the following address into your browser to access the page: http://www.floridabiblecollege.com/index.cfm?action=nominate) Please take the time to click on this link and give us the names and contact information for your suggestions. Email addresses, physical addresses, and telephone numbers are all acceptable forms of contact information.

Thank you for your prayerful diligence in this matter."
