July 1,

I haven't seen another in a while. A long lonely while in which I was bereft of all that which is considered homely and comforting. I fear for my sanity. Until this early morn when I did stumble unto anothers resting place. It seems that I am not alone now, but is this other one to trust - or one to fear? I fear the inevitable, that this meeting should come to pass between myself and this..this brute. Lo and behold the irony that my own lips betray me unto - so long without company and here and now when it is within my grasping fingers do I shove it away from me. The irony.

Love,
Dice

The lone dove did lower her brainpan until her muzzle touched the rough and muddied bark. A scent, which is not her own flooded her nostrils, and the female skittered to the right. She didn't recognize the smell - though it was unmistakably male. Small and crudely made flute fluttered to and fro listening for any sounds that had once been recklessly ignored but now they seemed daunting. Fear, something she had not felt in a long while flooded her veins and froze her to the spot.
