synductly is the case of my son both hands (L)3rd and fourth digit (r) entire digits except the thumb.he is now 2 years and 11 months old.his first release was last march 29,2004. his next operation hopefully this year..his surgeon gave us two option regarding his ring finger which overlapped to his middle finger,its either they separate the two fingers or take of the excess of the ring finger which overlapped his middle finger..his his middle and ring finger has no tendons..we cant decide on what to do about it so he adviced us to check the website about limb lengthening and prostheses..
i would like to ask if what is the process of limb lenghtening and its difference with prostheses and its function..
