I knew one of Shibendu's students (who doesn't post here) who could do Kechari. But I heard this man say that he thought the overemphasis on Kechari to be ridiculous. So the effects he may have got due to Kechari, as combined with (higher) Kriyas, may not have been that dramatic I guess. But apparently he got results.

Anyway, he used to be a staunch follower of Shibendu and even bought into his 12-chakra teaching. He told me that there are not six chakras, but actually twelve. I listened, but said nothing.
