The heart in kriya literature usually refers to the esse of us which is Soul. The door to that is kutasta. Sometimes they mean that. But the devotion must be awakened to get to kutasta. It is awakened by devotion in the heart. Later on you release lifeforce from the heart to get pratyahara. Your statement is true but very complex and true in many senses.
