That is certainly not the case with Buddhism, in which "God" is considered either non-existant or irrelevant. The Buddha is considered as someone who attained enlightenment by his own efforts, without the intervention of any divine power or saviour.

When you speak of "corrupted teachings" I assume that what you really mean is anything except Sant Mat, your one true path.
