I have always discerned that there is a difference between "belief" and "faith" or "blind faith" as you put it. Many people assume that "belief" and "faith" are the same but I don't think so.

Pure faith is an "intuitive KNOWING"...a "realization" of truth that is not always readily supported by the externally focused senses yet still finds it's way into everyday awareness and is felt and known beyond any doubt to be so. It is "knowing" and "realization" despite that fact that you may not understand all of the particulars, mechanics and details of what you have come to realize/know.

Belief is rationalization or an agreement where faith is realization however subtle it may be...the former is of the mind where faith is of the heart.
