My only tangible experience of witnessing materialization of corporeal bodies came in a form of an alcoholic man who was married at the time to a dear cousing of mine and a lady teacher whom I knew was very ill.
Both individuals were actually sleeping in bed at the time the events took place and they were not consciously aware and what really happened.

These materializations occurred in plain broad daylight. the first one was witnessed by four ordinary individuals and I; the latter one was experienced by three persons.

These materializations lasted for at least a lapse of 3-5 minutes approx.

There are excellent books written concerning astral projections by the famous french astronomer Camille Flammarion.

Three books on the subject he wrote:
Mysterious Psychic forces, The Unknown and Haunted Houses. I highly recommend them.
