I have done lots of "astral travelling" in the past and have come to the conclusion that it is more likely than not, nothing but bunk - just a type of lucid dream or a symptom of sleep paralysis. I get all the classical symptoms that these people speak of: sounds (not at all the same as what is heard through Kriya), vibrations, pressure, rolling or floating out of the body, etc. Through my experimentation I strongly believe there is no objective reality to these experiences and moreover the phenomenon seems to be pretty useless in terms of real spiritual progress. At best it is an interesting and somewhat entertaining distraction.
