It's simple...
Because, if you want to place a question to a teacher (It's THIS the sense that DaviJi means, when it writes the word "Guru" - he does not speak about SatGuru), you must have a Teacher that she answers to you.

Naturally, if you succeed to speak with a dead man or you are spiritually advanced one to the point from being able to listen to its answers... you can also less make some.

But I do not know persons who speak with the dead men.
those persons who declare of being able to make it, of usual they are (normally) in bad faith or crazy.
