The important thing here is meditation and God-communion, and so we have people of all faiths that come to SRF

Apparently this was true when Yogananda was here. Now you cannot get kriya unless you drop previous affiliations and accept SRF as sole church membership. Early material on another board suggests that this rule was instituted ca 1958-1960. I have heard that a few exceptions are made for people like Catholic monastics, but not for the rank and file.

It's also notable that the phrase "church of all religions" is no longer present in the text and captions of recent editions of the Autobiography.
