That is correct, Yoganandaji once hosted a show on KNX Radio in Los Angeles.

A few years ago, the annual SRF wall calendar included a listing of important dates in SRF history. One of the dates listed on the calendar was the first broadcast date of Yogananda's KNX radio show. I believe the first broadcast was in January 1935. This I recall because I had a connection at that time with KNX and thought it was remarkable my Guru was once heard on the same station.

A while after that calendar came out, I asked Br. Mitrananda about it. He said there were many remarkable things the Guru did, such as the radio show, to promote the work.

I then asked him if there were any transcription discs of those radio shows in the SRF archives. Brother said he didn't think so, but it was possible. He said there are many old recordings and films of the Guru that they are working to preserve, restore, and issue for devotees. Before leaving SRF, Mitrananda was in charge of such things I believe.
