I have looked around a bit concerning the engine and program compatibility.

There is no problem to work with both, 3d Studio Max and Cinema4D because the models can be exported to each program. The only problem to this matter are the textures because they are hard to export correctly, not to say impossible. That means all the textures have to be applied with one program, but the models can be made with both, as I said. Which program that will be is dependent on the engine or programming standard, I have to look around further on this matter. If the engine uses DirectX it is not recommended to use Cinema4D for final export, because there might be problems with the textures.
