I dont really like the idea of an ancient and migthy entity from beyond our dimension being detained by profane technology. If there is a technology able to deal with supernatural creatures this would mean that mankind knows something about these beings and developed ways to get rid of them. I better like the old fashioned way of an ancient ritual binding the physical form of the Widersacher until someone breaks the circle (or something like that). I know this is pretty stereotype but then we do not need to explain how the energy field was being maintained without a working power supply and so on.

>And about it's form, how do you see it?

The question is should the player meet and see the Widersacher at all or would it be more frigthening if he does never face it at all.
What do you think about it?
