Why am I tortured by this ridiculous overlay of nothing but the 'tripod' logo....how do I GET RID OF IT!????? help...

On thing I can think of is to write to tripod and ask them what is going on? Hope this helps. I hardly come here any more because of that coming up always. It kinda irrating to me. I don't know about the rest of the people.
