In an ALL TIME DUMB MOVE, new EP Gary Tomlin got rid of Kale Browne. This was the first of MANY mistakes that Gary Tomlim has made since becoming the new EP, and it's his WORST.
Kale Browne WAS Sam Rappaport, he put his heart and soul into the character and it showed each and every day. No other actor can play those scenes with Lindsay, Todd, Nora, and Will like Kale can.
Kale wanted to stay with OLTL, but the clueless Tomlin got his way, and has drove away alot of fans as well. It's a shame that OLTL hd to lose such a wonderful and talented actor like Kale Browne, he is one of the BEST!

I can't believe Kale Brown was replaced. He is Sam Rappaport.Your new replacement just isn't getting the job done.I don't even watch the show that much anymore and my friends feel the same way. What a mistake!

I agree. I do not like the choice of the "New" Sam. He is to young to be playing this part. He is a good looking guy, but he is not a good Sam

Kale Browne was Sam Rappaport and He will be Sam in my mind and heart. Laurnace Lau is a great actor, and great looking but he will never be Sam to me because he looks too young to play this role. There are plently of talented actors the right age who could've been Sam if Gary Tomlin had taken the time to look. Did you guys know that Larry Lau was one of the actors who tried out for Colin? I think someone who looks young enough to try for Colin, should never be playing the role of Sam. I understand why some of you don't want to watch the show anymore. I have seen many changes over the years on oltl, but I plan to keep watching. I hope someday some of you are interested in llanview again. JMHO!

Larry Lau is NOT too young to play Sam. He LOOKS young but he's 46 years old.

It's been months, and I am still saying the same thing. Bring back Kale Browne. Laurence Lau is a good actor, but he does not fit the role of Sam. Did you know that he screentested for the role of Colin MacIver? Right, he is young enough to be Colin and old enough to be a man in his late 40s with two grown children? Someone forgot to do the math on this one!! Does anyone agree?

Hi,
I'm sorry but how old is this. The whole recast thing. Lets face it, as much I adore KB, he's gone from the show, LL is a good actor, I don't see why some of us can't accept him as Sam. And as for the age difference the guys 46, and its not his fault if he looks too young. Give LL a break, its not easy replacing an actor.

yeh I can understand, KB is a good actor, I liked watching him too on OLTL, well, the guy has done other soaps before maybe he'll do another one.
