Subject: Memories of Max and Gabrielle

does anyone on this board remember some of the action between Max and Gabrielle way back when? I was a big fan back in college (late 80's) and they sizzled! I was not going to start watching soaps again, but when I heard Gabrielle was back, I had to tune in again.
I will say I'm not liking her 80's Pat Benatar hair, and the plotline confuses me a little, and can someone tell me what happened to Max's other kids?, but man, is ther echemistry between James and Fiona - much more so than between James and his real-life wife.
