Just found this board yesterday and have been reading through the messages. What a terrific forum, and whether we're praising or griping, the love comes through for the show...either what it is, what is was, or what it can be.

Let's hear it for The New Powers That Be and Gary Tomlin's attempts to save us from the Jill F. Phelphs fiascos. I'm e-mailing old friends and roommates (who all got hooked on OLTL when I watched it religiously after work and before supper) to start watching again.

How to Rescue a Falling Soap:
After years of trying to re-invent a story, someone has decided to take a creative step *backward* and bring back characters we care about. Better yet, they have cast the roles with familiar faces...terrific actors who can work wonders with mediocre material and make magic with a good story line. Wasn't it wonderful to see Alex again (however briefly? And are there any long-time watchers who haven't missed Gabrielle since she left us on that fateful day in March of '91. Fiona Hutchison is simply one of the finest dramatic actresses I've seen in some 30-years of watching daytime.

I'll admit I've always loved Viki's alters and the many revisions along the way. Some may feel this story has been played out, but I'm buying it. I hope Erika Slezak is enjoying this storyline.

I've rambled enough..
Thanks for listening...

The Colin mystery may clear out a few of the Rappa-Davissons (PLEASE let it be Will and/or Jen!) and get us back to the core families. With the losses of Dorian, Kevin, Joey, and possibly Kelly,

Please solve this murdery mystery now! It's getting boring.I agree that the murderer should be Will,or Jen!I think it's gonna be Sam!!I'm so delighted to see Finola(Gabrielle) back in Landview where she belongs. She's such a terrific actress. I loved the scenes today with Max,and, her with tears of their son Al. It was so moving.
