Dear all walkers, OC and helpers
The moment of thrill did not end at our finishing point of the Trailwalkers. Thank you for sharing with us your thrill and your other feelings of "Proud of 20".
WE have created a miracle for ourselves and CityU. Without any one of you, the UNIQUE miracle would not be created that belongs to us. There will never be another miracle like it, be proud of it. There will never be another group of CityU Walkers, be blessed with it! When we walked through the McLehose Trail, I felt that I had a faith that we could "move" the mountians of the McLehose Trail and overcome all barriers. The faith says for all- the immerse power of Proud of 20.
We have created a faith in ourselves which has taken us through and beyond the McLehose Trail. Nobody is perfect and no life is problem-free. But we have learnt to accomodate each other to accompolish our team goal. Along the trail, we have learnt to accept the differences and support each other.
I want to say a big THANK YOU and give a BIG HUG to you all!
All team leaders (Brian, Micky, Ching and Missy): you always responded that you were not a leader. But you did serve a leader for your team and help to secure the safety of your team members.
Those who have stayed at the back: you have helped us to secure the safety and the pace. You were generous to sacrifice your resting time to serve in the role for us.
Those who have taken as the first walker: you were brave to set the pace for us and patient to adjust the pace for us.
Those fast "runners" and super-fit ones (Joe, Wing, Raymond Kong, Tong, Indy, KK, Danny Ho...if you are on this list, don't be mad at me, hehe): you were so patient and considerate to trade-off your personal standard for the team interests.
Chun: thank you for your care, snacks and small talkes to keep me awake in the midnight.
Danny Ho: thank you for carrying my backpack for stages 3-4 and your long talks in the midnight to keep my mind active.
Joe: thank you for taking care of our safety (Charlie group)by staying at the back all the time.
Anglea: thank you for showing us that CityU women are also very physically strong people.
Angie: thank you for showing me human potential and power.
German: thank you for your cheering for the members. I am so proud of you that you have made a recor! Thank you reminding me that miracles are created by trying.
Micky: thank you for taking very good care of your team memebrs and offering a helping hand to the the two trainers.
Danny Yim: thank you for helping to carry Jacky to make "his road" easier.
KK: I can't help laughing when you are there. You are our energizer.
Wing: thank you for running around to assist the two trainers. You can't dcline the offered title- "Horse Runner".
Boris: you had been so considerate and humble to serve others with enthusiasm.
Missy: thank you for your Vaseline and heartfelt care to all walkers, especially to Jacky. Your genunie caring attitude came to make the hard time easier.
Jacky: like all other walkers, I am so proud of you. Nobody is a failure if he/she dares to try do something worthwhile. You have made it! You are with us to have created the miracle.
Hong and Kei: thank you for creating a "documentary" of snapshots for our miracle.
Matthrew and Patrick: no words can say my thank you to your leaadership and efforts. You have done far more as a trainer or coordinator is supposed to do! The "road" is rugged but you have made it smooth for all to travel.
All OC and helpers: you have done far more which I could see for bringing all CityU Wlakers to the Mclehose Trail with confidence and faith. I can't demand more.
This note can go on and on. Nothing can tell you how grateful I am for you to create the miracle for my life!
