It's frustrating for a lot of players that are continually singled out! Yes they do care, but what can they do about it??
One more thing on Luke Duffy, I had the priviledge of watching him ref Under 16's a number of times last year, it seemed that over all he was good! BUT is intimidated by players. One occurance was when we were playing at Port he blew a penalty to the opposing team on thier 10 meter line, a few Port players congregated around him yelling and screaming at him. He then wait for it reversed the penalty??? What The!! I think he needs to mature a fair bit and learn to stand his ground. Although he does seem to have some qualities that 1st grade ref's should look at!
