They didn't threaten last year and then had the Howell brothers Riddell, Withers and Kite replaced by Torrens, Best and Ennis. The squad looks weaker than last year as a result so I presumed they would finish a place or two below last year. To do this they will have to improve and also find out why their injury rate is so extreme. I don't think Nathan Brown has long to go and talk of Telstra Stadium can only create further divisions.
Their inconsistancy is so bad also that even if they do bounce back with one of their 40 point wins next week it doesn't neccessarily snap them out of their current form as they could just as easily lose by 40 a week later.
The Dragons unfortunately are not currently blessed with a winning atmosphere, until they get it things will stay the same as they have for 7 seasons now.
