Subject: JOHN AVERY - WAR VETERAN

I am trying to acquire any available information on John Avery, his life, family death and burial. He was born in Adelaide. From 1861-1865 he participated in the American Civil War, serving as a Private in Co B, 140th Illinois Infantry and we would like to add him to the Australian Veterans memorial website, www.acwv.info.
