Detailed description: Being a werewolf, she has the ability to shapeshift. She is able to become fully wolf, fully human, or the form in between the two, somewhat of a human with wolf characteristics. However, she prefers the latter, as she retains her human height with the strength and keen senses of the wolf. In her human form, she has pale skin with raven-black hair falling past her waist, stands at around six feet tall, and her build is lean and slender. In her wolf forms, she has black fur with no markings.

Personality: Critical, analytical, sarcastic, independent, generally very cold, indifferent, and uncaring, though she often finds herself seeking the company of others when the wolf in her comes out. She resists getting close to anyone, though when it can't be helped, she becomes fiercely loyal to whoever it may be, and should she ever lose them, she'll slip into a deep depression. When this happens, she puts up even more barriers, making it that much harder to get close to anyone. Yet her inner wolf always drives her to seek out company, and again, she will become depressed if she can't find suitable socialization. Constantly being torn between being a lone wolf and a social butterfly aggravates her to no end and puts her on edge, causing caustic and biting remarks to slip out of her mouth, which in turn often lead to her loneliness. She blames herself for her perpetual states of unhappiness, for she knows how bitter she can truly be. It's all part of her downward spiral...

History: Cadence was bitten at the very young age of 12, though she doesn't remember where or how it happened, having barely survived the changes the Transformation wreaked on her body. She dove into a state of madness as her brain simply couldn't handle the radical alteration it underwent. For the first year of her new life, she lived wherever she could find food, often in the form of small rodents, and being unable to control her changes, she morphed at random intervals, always barely surviving each Transformation. When she could no longer handle her curse and was reaching death's doorstep, her savior arrived, a male werewolf. He took her under his wing, taught her to hunt and to control her changes, which allowed her to Transform whenever she wished. Naturally, she owed him her life and would willingly die for him if he simply asked it of her. She loved him fiercely, and they became mates when she reached her early twenties. Her life changed when a rival werewolf arrived in their territory and challenged her mate for it. The newcomer was young and strong, whereas her lover was reaching his older years, and he was killed in the bloody battle. Cadence was driven from the only home she knew, but only after slaughtering her mate's killer. She became a recluse, cold and spiteful, refusing to care about another person for as long she lived.
