Subject: Weird Sounds

Okay, this is it, I hear a sound like a baby that cries but I can see nothing, it's weird because it sounds where I am, I was in my garden and I heard it, later, I went inside my house and heard it again, they say it's just a cat, but I think not, does a cat follow me?
or is it something more? what do you think it is?
