Miniature flowers, small and dominantly blue with the smallest of purple ridges about a sun yellow center, fell gently towards grass the color of fresh life, of spring. She smiled at petals no larger than a freckle against her skin and watched as they aimlessly drifted upon a wind created by nothing more than rotation of one she could call mother. Earth spun freely, sending one of her children gliding towards another with greatest care, carefree liberty in every grace filled motion. To fly... To feel winds gentle caress upon her wings... From above, black and glittering as though diamonds of darkest night, from beneath where the sunlight shone through them, very edges where feather did not overlap feather, shone blood red, as though thousands of garnets were peiced together in a moment of God's creativity. She truly was free in this place.

Clouds drifted across her, obsuring her from view of those below. Eyes of gold scanned skyline for wings of brilliant silver chrome. Where had Alyander gone?
