Sego Lilies had an interesting past for such a small plant. Tiny and by no means delicate, the greenish hued flower had gotten very little attention by the traverlers that passed it so often, pulling their belongings behind them in a hope that better things lay ahead. Food had run short, rugged flowers still overlooked in a word of pure unsettled wilderness. And then one had been pried loose of its anything less than fertile soil, desert plant in a form of bloom, potatoe like root resting in a bedraggled traveler's hands. Sego Lilies had saved thousands, all by growing in a place where nothing else chose to live.
Happiness had become much the same way in her former home. A tainted world lying at their feet and dark villains ever rising to contaminate it further. All had seemed lost, and yet few trudged on. Weary travelers in a desert of rising corruption. Never once had the goddesses smile rained down upon them as they had watched. She had chosen a time for action, a Sego Lily smile brightening her face as she walked from closed gates and came gently to what had formally been called Terra. No mission lying about her, but a personal quest. None had seen her go, her pressence and unnoticed absence as moments later teardrops of bloody crystal rained in place of goddesses healing touch. She stood beneath the shelter of a tree in bloom, soft petals and newborn leaves sheilding her from fragments of cutting glass. And when it had ended, she gathered crystal, fragments of all colored glass into a small pouch and kept it at her side. A part of the world died then.
Tyrsis opened her eyes, gold sparkling a magnificence similair to nature's own form as sunlight arced across her face. She felt warm this morning, saved from a dream she had no recollection of slipping into. The branches of a cherry tree overhung her, pale blossoms scattering petals on the wind as nothing seemed to matter more than the spread of life. Fragrance wakened her senses. This was a beautiful place to begin a day. Her own wanderlust arroused.
