Space and time, all things were related. By way of matter, and energy, all things were tied. Through this bond, planets were boren and died, and born again. People were much the same, born, live a while, then die, to have their energy redirected to another living thing. But there was a dam to the process. One fine line between life and death, and they were the line.

Vampires. Bound energy by ways long forgotten (hahahahaha). Kain was it? Or Lillith? Who was to say, the origin of the vampire was a mystery, and it was going to stay that way.

There was no real reason to life, really, you live only to die, and the breeds changed over time, and eons, becoming better than what they were before, evolution. Procreation only kept the process going, to keep the cycle of evolution in a fine line, smooth, with no quirks.

As like magic, no more than energy. Magi could use magic to heal, to kill. Energy could be manipulated much the same way, whether a catalyst of destruction, or made to speed the bonding of cells in healing. Magic and energy, bound by the same force that created the universe. Energy and magic. One in the same.

And a race that could use it like no other. They were all part of the same system, but with a very different outlook on creation. Weak die to make room for the strong, and the strong survive to become stronger.

Saiya-Jin. The warrior race. Monkeys they were called, in hatred and as a slander. But then there were alway those with slanderous names, the humans had no end of them. But there was no need to repeat them. Everyone knew what those were. And there was a lone few to run the trials and errors of the experimental universe some called Ayenee. No one knew how they got there, but no one gave a damn, they were here, and here to stay. Bring rain, thunder, wrath of angels, the hatred of devils. They were here, and there wasn't anyone to bring them down. At least not yet. She had been an Angel once...it was nothing to laugh at, but it definately wasn't a way of life for her. Miracle this, bitch.

But enough of the theories of the world, she thought. No more than a few seconds had past from her disappearence from her fight to the place she felt to be needed most. Damn you two, you could have gotten me killed. But what else is new? Always someone out there with a price on my head.

Cloth-like boots scuffed on rubbled ground before coming to a halt. The settling of weight was heart and felt with a small cloud of dust kicked up from just walking, and a tail swishing lightly behind stirred it up and away. Coal eyes looked downward in a regretful look, down at the man she'd (partially) raised as a kid. She sighed. What could she say, the kid had run off while she was supposed to be watching him. She hadn't thought anything out there could have truely hurt him. He was a Saiya-Jin for crying out loud. But that was the kind of arrogance ladden to the race, nothing can harm us, we're invinsible.

She was angry, mostly with herself. She should have known by now that kind of arrogance got most of their kind killed, and it looked like it was still working. A flicker of anger passed over her features, and she clenched a fist at her side, but only briefly, as it unclenched nearly as quickly as it had clenched. She then knelt down to the sobbing man and put her hands on his shoulders and bowed her head.

"We'll get them Shirow...we'll get them."

She that in itself wasn't going to work to its fullest extent. He was going to need someone to blame after the fact, and she was ready to take it onto herself.

It was her fault afterall.
