Just remember that it's not the pawn that always takes the next peice, but perhaps the bishop. In light of events, your question intrigues me, and I've come to believe that what kills this prescious goddess most is her inability to be present at all. She still clings to the memories of her past, and most of those are of the physical world. We need to surmise a way to draw out this prescious Queen out of the safety of her Rooks.
