In reply to: Jin 's message, "DINNER'S READY!" on 10:28:32 02/28/03 Fri

The dinner that Jin and his people put on was fanstastic in it's variety and abundance, and the laughter of people that had things in common rebounded from the brightly decorated walls. Still, though the room echoed joy there were things that troubled the young half-elf's mind. She paced outside, away from the crowds, from the people whom she would normally be mingling among, singing or playing if asked. She felt rather than saw her silent shadow Keman, as he followed her, to protect her from anything that could possibly threaten her. Rather sweet of him to worry about her safety she mused, not sure if it was out of a sense of duty, or because of something more. She let that drop from her mind though, for that wasn't what troubled her, or rather it troubled her, but it was a minor thing in comparision to the events that had happened that day. The other winged beings that had appeared so mysteriously and vanished in the same way had been Angels, or so she had been told. She had heard a voice in her head, softly asking her to listen to the song that the Choir sang, and mirror it in Elven. She did as she was asked, speeding up the tempo and candence to make it brighter. Oddly enough she had understood every word the Choir sang, though how she knew that she didn't know. When the Angel with the bright silver wings and golden hair had stepped forward and spoke she knew who had requested her to sing. She wasn't quite sure what role she was playing now, and that left her on rocky ground, she was a bard, not some kind of mouthpiece for creatures like angels. She was restless too, the wanderlust that sent her away from kith and kin and traveling through strange places was nagging at her to continue on her journey, though she had no idea where she would go.

She continued to pace outside, her silent companion shadow keeping a few steps behind her and she wondered just what she was doing in this place now.
