The fork paused, half raised to Tiani's face as something broke. Shards of energy sprayed across a surface not quite eqiuvalent to reality. It broke... and spread, the fork clattering to the plate as it slipped from near-numb fingers. Her face was nothing but a smile.

Tyrsis shuddered, only now managing to see through Wyrd's eyes as she sought to control the gift that had never been embraced by her kind. Something only now though of as more than a meaningless curse. The barrier around him strained and broke as her own thoughts rushed along the link connecting them. Rage, untormented, undenied warrior's rage. Forbiddion tugged at her, ripped away by warrior's conviction and consumed in greed by her strange companion. Her fingers tightened in Jin's hand, a place they ahd not left since finding their way there. The solidness of alone was too much when her hand broke contact with his, a necessary evil as she stumbled, nearly dropping her face into the plate of food before her.

Tiani's smile slippped towards a grin, mischevious and full of light as the feel of things breaking pulled to a stop, her hands meeting in a quiet triangle before her as the shattering simply.... stopped.

No was the appropriate answer.

Fire-span wings twitched, off grin remaining on a little girl's lips. Someone was breaking her toys and using them to create new toys. She did not find it cute, nor ammusing... however it seemed a necessary evil to this being.

Wings of garnet whivered as golden eyes opened, unaware of when she had clenched them shut and mindless of the tears thats treamed down her cheeks and solidified into silent gems. "Wyrd, you can never fail until you quit." She was hardly aware she spoke aloud. Her eyes found Jin's. "It is time to wait."

"I hate waiting." Tiani's eyes sparked with a living fire of their own.
