Forest green eyes watched, shattered glass forming and reforming before them as she returned to the silent circle. Returned to another semblence of death, played out in slim parody. Broken bodies answered the soft question, heard the spoken words. Quiet now, no song broke forth to disillusion them all.

He could wait... and wait... and wait...

And never once would childish smile leave her lips. Broken images flashed and she sat beside the fragile goddess, stroking dove gray hair. The odd gathering of people strewn about twitched almost spasmadicly. A game of evolution. Of time and a subconscious lack thereof. She sat alone amongst them, Tyrsis and Wyrd silent sentinals, twin orbs of gold watching a flame winged paradox play at waiting.
