The voice came from the darkness, the coldness of it's tone at odds with the words it spoke. There was a thin rustling of fabric and the darkness parted in a slender cone revealing a young woman with a tray that held food and a glass of some liquid. She walked slowly forward and knelt, the movement smooth and seemingly effortless as she set the tray down in front of Ariel. Her voice when she spoke was soft and faintly accented. The clothes she wore were of a uniform grey, neither flattering nor insulting in it's appearance.
"I was asked to bring you something to eat, since it has been some time since you were brought here. I'm sorry but all we have to offer you for a drink is water, but the meal should make up for that.
The woman smiled a little and rose, turning to leave. The sparkle of something bright and colorful catching her attention.
