Silence was deafening.

Neo Horogomo had become ear-shatteringly quiet as the sun set, darkness following a crimson that sunlight should never be. "Dark times." Wyrd had said. Truly dark times as a slow murmer spread across the city, a tether of tension suddenly released and freeing awe struck vocal cords. Chaos rushed forward as a gently panic ran through each individual, calmed only as old knights regained their composure and brought peace to the crowd again.

"Tomorrow brings the same thing yesterday did." A gray haired man spoke, armor glistening palely in what seemed a perfectly dark street. "Tomorrow brings a chance that death will find you... or glory will. Tomorrow brings a chance to fight for what you have claimed to believe. Tomorrow morning will bring the same opportunity today did. A chance to trip and break your own neck, or a chance to save your neighbor from tripping. Go home and worry about tomorrow when it comes." A small, nearly missed hand gesture sent the knights away with the crowd only to return moments later. Some notion of not panicking the people, Tyrsis supposed. "Prepare for the worst. A red sun means bloodshed on the morrow."

The knights scattered to silently fulfill their tasks as Tyrsis spoke. "If you need another set of eyes..."

Moments later she sat in front of a small hearth, eyes closed and a hand resting on Wyrd's back. For comfort or strength, she was not sure, but she began seeking her visions rather than allowing them to seek her.
