"Can we go find Kiora now?" The child's question bounced off of Zoltarra for the thousandth time within that hour and was returned with the same kindly note of 'not now' that it had been from the begining.

Tiani was getting restless, fire-span wings spread out behind her as she sat on the high stool and stared at a plate of cookies and a glass of milk someone had placed in front of her. Dark green eyes flashed lightly as she half-glared at the cookies. Jin had vanished. Wyrd seemed to be halfway guarding her, and Zoltarra and this Tyrsis woman would not let her play with the others. She could swing a stick as well as any one of them, and probably even better too. They were resting now, some of the taller boys batting at one another half heartedly while the smaller looking ones seemed intent on learning something from them. It was mindless, infuriatingly mindless.

Her frown lessened a bit, more inclined towards curiousity as Zoltarra and Tyrsis approached, discussing what seemed to be her. "...nine, maybe ten," The garnet winged angel was saying, "but how is she aging so quickly?" Tiani did her best to appear interested in her cookies and milk while hearing as much as she possibly could.
