The rest of the quarry ceases to be. There alone with Jin the weapon of perfect destruction stood, fur and feathers rippled in a grand display. Bat wings were spread, then flapped once, sending a cyclone of air around the area about him. It was like watching exactly what he ad done to the city in reverse. Buildings that had been smoldering pulled back their smoke, and rebuilt themselves, brick by brick. Those that died? They mattered not, they would live again. It was only a matter of how and when.

Crimson glazed eyes reassess the holy FATE knight, asking questions to Vain where he could not see him. Wyrd knew, perfectly in this city, with all else removed.

Vain was alone.

And Wyrd was waiting.
