The shard was still embedded within his body, making it an agony to move, which was probably Crystin's intention. He snarled inwardly as he watched his Lord dance around Crystin. She had the skills that would have made her an admirable demon, but as a vampire she was remarkable. Ruthless, cunning and deadly, a combination that he suspected Onimaru would find a danger to himself soon. The vampire could be eliminated of course, but only if his Lord commanded it.... if something were to happen to his Lord though, he could walk away from both, making sure to watch own back of course. Now he only wanted to remove the shard that was making his life a living hell.
