The night stars shown clearly in a cloud scattered sky. Twin moons hung unevenly in the sky, the larger of the two a pale green, the other a mild yellow, almost creamy.

Wyrd parted his way through the grass, long shafts of it hindering his way, though he paid it no mind. Only the glitter of reflection off his opal gray scales shown his movement. There were creatures about, voles and mice, small rabbits. An owl glided silently through the air while another hooted off in the distance.

Long wolven ears twitched at the sound and rotated to radar on it, but that was all. He kept moving, crimson eyes fixed before him toward the ground. Vampires move away from the area swiftly, an unease growing in the air as he approached where they were hunting. Red caps scuttled away through small tunnels made in the endless grass, following the vampires. Rats fled away to their burrows, even the crickets went silent in the wake of his passing.

Only the faint glitter of blood in the starlight was what he saw, an inticing flag to follow for.
