The dragon had sent a message to Onimaru via the remains of Kiassa's heart and the shard that had been imbedded in him. The note that accompanied it was brief and to the point.

"I offer you an alliance Onimaru. If you attack the tattered remains of the Forgotten race your fighters will suffer severe casualties. If we join our forces together you could be unstoppable. Send me your answer soon, I am not a patient creature."

Onimaru paced out to where Crystin was currently at and showed her the note.

"It would appear that your dragon friend wants to join us in an alliance. Personally I would rather have nothing to do with her, she has her own enemies and I'm sure she has her own agenda to follow that will most likely not run parallel to our own. However I would like your thoughts on this matter.
