Finding the girl his master had instructed him to was child's play, to remain unseen even easier, but he knew the moment she spun with her weapons of choice in her hands that he had not remained undetected. Those blades she held with the grip of one who has fought, and presumably won, with them was firm. No matter how firmly she held them it would stop him from his task, his own claws were stronger than forged steel, and being what he was tilted the odds drastically in his favor. She was fortunate that he had been sent only to observe, not to kill or capture. Killing would be more preferable to him, but he had the suspicion that his master planned to capture this girl for some purpose of his own. Walking around her he noted the bladed wings, which just prior to her sensing him had been sleek dark green feathered wings. The change was astonishing, even for one who had seen shapeshifters slide from one image to another. His master would want to know of this, if he didn't already. Turning away from his quarry he threw a simple tracking spell at her, to locate her faster, before vanishing back to his master's side.
