There was silence for a moment, before a smile appeared in the shadows. THen a blur and whooshing sound before something barrelled into the vampire, sending it flying. Movement too fast to follow, the vampire screamed and writhed, before the last gurgle of life flowed from it, and it decayed to dust.

Tyrsis was alone.

The last thing she would see was the flicker of a long brown monkey like tail.

"Watch yourself birdy girl. Things around here don't play nice."
