Tears rolled down her cheeks as she scribbled the last of the words, barely remembering to sprinkle the wet ink with sand before closing its red and black cover. Her face found Magus' waiting shoulder as the book dropped into her lap.

The tears turned silver as they ran, marking her heritage and at the same time the strange events that had brought her to a place outside of reality, outside of motion and movement. Her own personal heaven, and yet she watched things like this occur.

I don't envy you, Zoltarra.

She would not explain what she had just seen, felt, and written. Sometimes words were not enough.
