A tree stood tall over what could have been called the only untouched placee from the upheaval, though if that had been the case, it was a lie.

Ayame sat off in a lawn chair, with sun glasses on and a cold drink in her hand while she watched Raken's machines work. Scuttling here, rolling there, repairing this, rebuilding that. Only his lab had been untouched, because it was built to withstand -anything-. Frrom earthquakes to volcanos to nuclear bombs to E-Jin and their ungodly powers. It had a counter for everything.

But forget that. Things were starting to look back to normal. Quiet for one, and though Ayame looked relaxed, she had a feeling that something was amiss. Oh well that was always a constant feeling.

Her eyes drifted over to Shirow, who was still standing out in the middle of her yard, still SSJ, and still looking up toward the sky.

"You know if you keep standing there like that, I'm going to build a fountain around you and plant pink flowers around that. What's wrong with you?"
