Still the song played undaunted by those who heard it, the howling, biting, cold wind only adding to it a sense of wonder. Drifting across the endless expanse of white, though it was not that far away from its source…afterall there was no magic in it. And still it played, uncaring of the howling wind, letting the cold permeate and enliven it with the sounds of nature…it continued…

The tune began to slow the song losing its crisp clarity and rather it began to meld into one note…a note that bled out a sense of complete loss and sorrow as points grew hot with anger. A fierce note played, once again surrounded by calm…another note played with the passion of anger…once again surrounded by sorrow. It continued still this pattern establishing itself for a few moments before the fury was loosed completely. Furiously fast and punctuated notes blasted through the air…rage the expression and sensation given off by the powerful notes…yet they lose not their cold edge…the seeming uncaring for the rest of the world…eerie. It came from the west, land of the setting sun; from within a thick copse of pines covered in wisps of crystalline snow. The darkness residing from within seeming to cause the music to be even more eerie, even as the fury of the notes seemed to calm, returning to a melancholy tune. Obviously this was a master at work for few beings could master the range of skill that was being depicted since the music began…and still continued.

There was no breath between notes, only an endless stream of enchanting music, melancholic in nature…eerie in demeanor…and it continued…
