they are a part of her, an extension of herself that when they reach a certain point they detach and go off on their own to the target....... I pulled the attack from Digimon....(no snickering, that's where I get a LOT of my attacks lol) The claws flow out from the dragon, get really BIG and go from there. They're only energy, not flesh and bone.
